The problem was that existing wellness tracking tools were not designed for GLP-1 therapy. General calorie counters ignored the unique nutritional priorities of patients on appetite-suppressing medications. Symptom diaries were disconnected from medication schedules. And providers had no way to monitor patient progress between visits without manual phone calls.
